Bio

As a kid, I struggled a lot with confidence. Softball changed that. I worked hard every day to get better and better which made my confidence better, then that carried over into everything I did. It changed me into a completely different person (in a good way). Softball also helped me when I was stressed or anxious. I would just go hit off the tee or make my brother throw ground balls and pop flies to me. Softball helped me pick my major, I knew I wanted to still be involved with sports so I decided to major in Exercise Science to become a Physical Therapist where I can help athletes recover from injuries or become a trainer to help athletes reach their best potential. I've been playing softball since 8U and have been with the same coach since 10U.

Bio

I started playing softball at age 10, and immediately fell in love with the game. My softball experiences these past 8 years, has been a true blessing to me. It has taught me so much, but most importantly has taught me to persevere through any challenge that comes my way. I was offered to play on an all star team, where I met the coach and players that I would be playing with for the rest of my softball career. I have met lifelong sisters that I know will be there forever. These are the girls that I can call in 20 years and we can talk like we never stopped. I have had the same coach, Angie Barklow, through all of my years of playing, and I can say that she has truly inspired me in every way possible. Not only did she push me to be my best, but she also made softball so much fun. She is just like a mom to me, and I can come to her for anything. She knows me the best, and I cannot imagine playing with anyone else as my coach. In the future, I plan on working in the medical field, most likely as an ultrasound tech. I will start college at CCBC Catonsville, and transfer from there. Taking those cleats off for the very last time, will be heartbreaking but I know that I had an amazing experience with lifelong memories.
