USSSA East to Award Futures World Fastpitch Championship Berths

Pasadena, MD – USA Elite Select (USAES), the elite division of USSSA Fastpitch, will be hosting the Futures World Fastpitch Championships in the Orlando/Kissimmee area from July 17th-23rd. This prestigious event is designed to showcase the best 9U/10U/11U/13U teams from across the country. This event offers a week of championship play, entertainment, and educational opportunities which bring amateur, college and professional levels together in one destination.Teams must earn a berth either by being the top finishing team in a WFC National Qualifying event or via an at large bid (decided on by the USAES Committee).

USSSA East is excited to announce two Futures World Fastpitch Championship Qualifiers for 2017:

Each event offers one (1) Futures WFC berth (unpaid) to the highest “odd aged” finishing team in the 10U, 12U and 14U Open divisions (Note: 10U, 12U and 14U teams that have no second year players are considered as “odd aged” for this event). Should the highest finishing team decline their berth, then the USA Elite Select Committee will determine whether berths will be passed down to the next highest finishing eligible team. Upon acceptance of a Futures WFC berth, teams must register as USA Elite Select.
