On Saturday, October 10th, our USSSA East family lost a beloved member of our program, Tommy Thompson. Tommy worked as a site director for more than 15 years. You may have noticed his infectious smile at a weekend tournament where his love for the game resonated throughout the park. Locally, Tommy coached varsity softball at North County High School in the early 2000’s, where he mentored many young athletes. He loved to be around the game and you couldn’t take away the love he had for the sport. We hope to continue to show the same generosity, kindness, gratitude and unconditional love that poured from Tommy day in and day out. To know him was to love him.
We love you Tommy and we will miss you.
