In 2008, we will again be playing with the Worth "Dream Seam".  We have been using this ball almost exclusively since 1999.  It plays extremely well, is durable and has the high seam and the tacky grip that pitchers like.

Last year, our program used over 3,000 balls.  Because of that volume, we have been able to negotiate a competitive price and make the balls available for everyone quickly.  For the 8th year in a row, the cost for balls will remain the same.  The leather, optic yellow, USSSA stamped, red stitched, cor .47, 12" or 11" ball is $48 per dozen picked up.  If you want them shipped to you, all we’ll add is the actual shipping cost that we incur to send them to you.  If teams are going to practice with a ball, it may as well be the ball that will be used in the USSSA this year.

Those organizations that have younger in-house programs may also be interested in "bin" balls at $160 for 6 dozen 12" or $180 for 7 dozen 11". "Bin" balls are not the high quality ball used in tournament play, but are certainly suitable for less competitive in-house leagues.

In between the “bin” balls and the leather tournament balls are the synthetic covered balls.  They are composed of the same quality as the leather ball, but with a less tacky, synthetic cover.  They are less expensive than the leather ball.  Call for pricing on the synthetics.

Anyone interested in obtaining any of these should contact Bill Dowell at 410-439-BALL or bill@usssa1.com.
