Aside from the obvious (finding players, buying equipment and uniforms, setting up practices, etc.), there are 4 basic actions that new teams need to perform.
- Register your team with USSSA.
- Purchase team insurance. Fax a copy to 410-437-8139 or scan and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. Carry a copy of this document with you when participating in USSSA tournaments.
- Complete the online roster form, print it, get all players and parents to sign it. Have this document with you at all times when participating in USSSA tournaments. We do not require you to send a copy of your roster to our office.
- Choose which tournaments you wish to participate in and register for them online.
